Bandhavgarh Safari Timing
The safari timings of this wild Bandhavgarh National Park are different according to seasons. During winter, the days are shorter and nights are longer, so the park opens late and closes faster because safaris should be done in sunlight. Note: The Bandhavgarh National Park remains closed during the Festival of Holi and Diwali which are celebrated every year. It also remains closed during the season of Monsoon. Furthermore, every Wednesday the Safari for the afternoon shift remains closed to visitors. So, it remains open from 15th October to 30th June.
Safari Zones in Bandhavgarh

Tala Core Zone
This is the oldest and one of the most popular zones for enjoying a gypsy safari in Bandhavgarh National Park. This zone offers tiger sightings along with other attractions which makes it a famous one.
The Bandhavgarh Fort and the 10th-century tourist attraction known as the Shesh Shaiya which is the idol of Lord Vishnu lying on the Shesh Nag can be visited in this Bandhavgarh safari zone. These two are popular attractions for which many tourists visit the Tala zone. Other than these, Bamania Hill, Three Cave Point, Sita Mandap, Gopalpur Pond, Ketkiha, etc. are more attractions. Magadhi Core Zone

Panpatha Buffer Zone
This is the extension of the Khitauli zone and is around 25 km from Tala village which is located near the Bandhavgarh National Park. People can spot animals
like Nilgai, Wild dogs, Chinkara, and Chausingha. It includes deciduous and bamboo trees that are best for herbivores. The nearest towns are Umaria (55 km) and Katni (63 km).

Johila Buffer Zone
